What do I need to do to maintain my pool motor?
- Keep your filter within the proper PSI range.
- Make sure the impeller is not impaired.
- Make sure there are no plumbing leaks.
- A great idea is to keep your motor, as well as most pool equipment covered from the suns UV rays.
What if my motor no longer works?
You will need to replace it as well as the gasket and the seal.
What kind of options will I have when replacing a motor?
1. Replace the motor with a rebuilt motor, gasket and seal. 1 Year warranty on motor. 30 day warranty on labor.
2. Replace the motor with a brand new motor, gasket and seal. 1 Year warranty on both the motor and the labor. (We install new motors on our personal pools and recommend you do the same.)
3. Replace the motor with an ultra high efficiency variable speed energy saving pump and motor combination. They are very expensive but the way to go if your looking to go "green." The companies say they pay for themselves in energy savings. Approximately $ 1700
