It’s healthy to knock off any accumulations of any foreign matter both seen and unseen.

Soda ash, Soda Bicarbonate, Muriatic Acid, Chlorine, and Shock.
What about vacuuming on the weekly pool cleaning visits?
Vacuuming: At Passion Pool Care our pricing is based on there being a working pool cleaning system in your pool. Any accumulations not picked up by the pool cleaner system will be vacuumed out of your pool FREE as needed on our weekly pool cleaning visit. When there is not a working pool cleaner system present in the pool, the cost is $15 to vacuum a pool. We ask customers with broken cleaning systems to repair them within a reasonable time frame and we will vacuum once at no charge during one of our weekly pool cleaning visits while the pool cleaner is being repaired.
